Day 1: Arrival in Baltra. Discover Black Turtle Cove.

Your journey through the enchanting Galapagos Islands commences as you land at Baltra Airport, where a certified naturalist guide from the National Park will welcome you. From the outset, you'll uncover the remarkable biodiversity and distinctive landscapes that render this archipelago one of the world's most captivating destinations.

BLACK TURTLE COVE – PM

Our adventure kicks off with an exploration of Black Turtle Cove, a natural haven fringed by mangroves and serene turquoise waters. We'll glide through narrow channels in a panga, encountering sea turtles, reef sharks, rays, and a variety of seabirds.

This protected area serves as a crucial breeding ground for green turtles and is a bona fide paradise for nature enthusiasts and photographers.

Day 2: Genovesa, the Bird Paradise

DARWIN BAY – AM

Start your day amidst one of the most awe-inspiring seabird colonies on Genovesa Island. Darwin Bay presents an extraordinary setting where frigatebirds, boobies, and gulls frequently soar above the volcanic terrain.

As you stroll, you'll encounter sea lions basking on the beach, marine iguanas, and several unique species of Darwin's finches.

THE RAVINE - PM

In the afternoon, we'll explore El Barranco, renowned for its striking lava cliffs and rich wildlife. This location hosts colonies of seabirds and great horned owls that hunt amidst the volcanic crevices.

In the rocky regions, you may also spot fur seals lounging by the sea.

Day 3: Volcanic Landscapes and Galapagos Penguins

SULLIVAN BAY – AM

Delve into one of the finest-preserved lava fields in Sullivan Bay and grasp the genesis of the Galápagos' volcanic islands. We'll traverse pahoehoe lava formations while observing the remarkable adaptations of life in this extreme setting.

Along the coast, keep an eye out for penguins, pelicans, and Galapagos hawks.

BARTOLOMÉ - PM

In the afternoon, ascend to the iconic Bartolomé Island, celebrated for its breathtaking panoramic vistas throughout the archipelago.

From the summit, admire the renowned Pinnacle Rock, volcanic cones, and the crystalline waters where penguins and vibrant tropical fish reside.

Day 4: Sea Lion Colonies on Volcanic Islands

CHINESE HAT - AM

Visit the diminutive islet of Chinese Hat, known for its perfect volcanic form and coral sand beaches encircled by turquoise waters.

This is among the prime spots to observe Galapagos penguins and sea lions in their natural setting.

MOSQUERA – PM

Our expedition continues to Mosquera Islet, home to a substantial sea lion colony. Its white sand beaches and pristine waters offer the ideal backdrop to unwind and appreciate the local wildlife.

You may also spot lava gulls and various coastal birds.

Day 5: Charles Darwin Research Station. Conclusion of Expedition.

CHARLES DARWIN STATION – AM

Conclude your journey with a visit to the esteemed Charles Darwin Research Station, a hub devoted to the conservation and protection of Galapagos' endemic species.

TRANSFER TO BALTRA AIRPORT – PM

At the designated time, we will transfer you to Baltra Airport for your flight back to mainland Ecuador.
