Our adventure begins with a pick-up from designated hotels starting at 7 am. We travel along the "Panamericana Sur" route, where you can admire stunning landscapes, diverse ecosystems, and the grandeur of the Andes, arriving at the Cotopaxi National Park around 9:00 am.

Upon reaching the National Park, we will explore the Park's Museum and visit the picturesque Limpiopungo Lagoon. The lagoon's waters are framed by small mountains and hills, offering a glimpse of the remnants left by ancient volcanic eruptions. This area is also a haven for birdwatching, with opportunities to see various bird species, herds of llamas, and mammals such as rabbits and deer.

We will embark on an engaging 2-hour hike through the magnificent Chuquiraguas forest, situated at 4,200 meters above sea level (weather permitting). Here, you'll discover the unique flora of this national park, including chuquiragua, cushion plants, mosses, lichens, romelios, the tree of god, and mortiño.

Next, we'll head to the impressive slopes of the Cotopaxi volcano for a brief walk within the park. Following this, we'll visit the Quilotoa Volcano, where you can marvel at its crater and the enchanting turquoise lagoon. This location offers a short walk around the volcano, providing some of the most breathtaking and photographed landscapes in the country.

You'll have free time for lunch (not included), with the option to dine inside the park while enjoying the incredible views of the Cotopaxi volcano, or you can choose to eat outside the National Park.

We will return to Quito at approximately 5 pm, with a drop-off at your hotel.
