The adventure begins with a pickup from hotels located in the heart of Quito or from the designated meeting spot at Magic Bean (intersection of Foch and Juan León Mera). From there, we embark on a picturesque three-hour drive westward through a stunning forest landscape, leading us to the riverbanks.
Upon arrival, a specialized guide will equip us with life jackets, helmets, and provide a comprehensive safety briefing. Following this, you'll be organized into groups for an intensive rowing practice session in the boat alongside your guide.
The rafting experience lasts approximately 3½ hours. Throughout this thrilling journey, you will encounter the exhilarating rush of white waters as well as the serene drift through lush tropical forests. Prepare to get wet and immerse yourself in the forest's sounds while observing wildlife up close.
During our expedition, we'll pause at the river's edge to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch. To conclude this adventure, we'll celebrate with a few cold beers before heading back to Quito, arriving at around 7:00 pm.
