At 7:00 am, we will gather at our designated meeting point to set off on a 2.5-hour journey towards the northeastern part of Quito, passing behind the Guagua Pichincha basins.
As we travel, you'll witness a remarkable transformation in both flora and fauna, while experiencing a noticeable shift in climate as we transition from the mountainous region to the coastal area.
The first stop on our itinerary will be the Pululahua Volcano Crater Viewpoint, where we'll spend approximately 20 minutes admiring the stunning landscape and capturing memorable photographs.
Upon reaching Mindo, we'll explore the orchidarium for an hour, offering a chance to see hummingbirds and over 200 species of orchids. Following this, we’ll visit the butterfly garden, a must-see in the morning to observe the butterflies in active flight.
Next, you'll have the opportunity to engage in adventure sports available in this area, including Canopy, Biking, Tubing, or Buggis. Alternatively, you might choose to enjoy a hike in the cloud forest lasting between three to four hours, where you can explore waterfalls and ride a cable car.
After these exhilarating activities, we'll pause for lunch and then proceed to another butterfly farm, where you can observe hummingbirds and toucans.
We will commence our return journey to Quito around 3:00 pm, with an expected arrival time of approximately 5:00 pm.
